The DETAILS

Born in 2004-2010 (U13-U19)


The Regional Teams are for the high-level players in the U13-U19 age groups.  One team per age group/region will be selected for each of the four programs that we support at the club.  Players are selected based on geographic region in the Charlotte area.  Regional teams compete in the Elite Clubs National League Regional League (ECNL-RL). 


Current players are placed on these teams based on performance level in training, matches, and ID sessions. New players who are interested in this program must attend the ID sessions to be selected for these programs. 

  • Season

    The season runs from August through June. Teams train 3 nights per week and play matches and tournaments that will require travel in North Carolina as well as the Mid-Atlantic region.

    North: Cornelius, Huntersville, Mooresville, and Gastonia


    South: York County (Rock Hill) and Matthews

PRE-ECNL

Introducing Our Soccer Program: Pre-ECNL and Pre-National Teams


Our Pre-ECNL program is tailor-made for high-level players in the U11-U12 age groups, serving as a stepping stone to our National and Regional programs. With a selective approach, approximately 24 players per age group/region are chosen for each supported program. Selection criteria are based on the geographical region within the Charlotte area.


Players in the Pre-National teams participate in the Carolina Development League (CDL) and may also have affiliation with the NCYSA. Current players earn their spots through exceptional performance in training, matches, and ID sessions. Prospective players keen on joining this program must attend the ID sessions for selection. The season runs in two segments (August-November and January-May), with teams training three nights per week and engaging in matches and tournaments that necessitate travel within a three-hour radius of Charlotte.

  • What are the ages of the Youth Academy players?

     The 2024-2025 Youth Academy program is for players born in the years 2015 (U10), 2016 (U9) and 2017 (U8).
